"Voltage Dip Immunity of Equipment Used in Installations ". 

The correct specification of customer equipment for voltage dip immunity, based on the system dip performance, has an important role to play ensuring that the plant operates optimally in a given environment. Present IEC power quality standards do not sufficiently address complex customer loads such as variable speed drives or the complex interaction between the power-system event, the sensitive equipment and the industrial process.  There is an important need for companies to provide industrial customers with guidance on what measures to take in ensuring that their plant is not adversely affected by voltage dips.
